This week in Maths, we learnt how to draw scale drawings. We also revised converting between different metric measurements and converted between imperial units too. In English, we planned and wrote our own traditional story set in a different culture, focusing on using descriptive vocabulary and develop characterisation to entertain the reader.

In PSHE this week, we discussed how we could improve our self esteem if we were feeling about negative about ourselves. The police also visited again this week and we learnt about how to stay safe online. In Geography, we learnt about the features of rivers and used atlases to find the mouth and source of some rivers in the UK. In Science, we looked at the evidence which helps to prove that the Earth is spherical in shape and in RE, we learnt about the roles and responsibilities of a Jewish rabbi.

Next week in English, we will start our new book, The Misadventures of Frederick and we will look at the features of persuasive letters. In Maths, we will learn about proportion and scaling and will solve some problems.
